The 40ft Fixed End Flatrack Container is the robust standard for the safe transport and storage of heavy, wide, or high industrial loads (out-of-gauge freight). Unlike a collapsible flatrack, the two steel end walls at the front and rear are permanently welded (non-collapsible). This provides the frame with extremely high rigidity and structural strength, which is essential when stacking heavily loaded flatracks aboard sea vessels.

Because the sides and roof are completely open, oversized goods such as large installations, tracked vehicles, heavy machinery, and long steel beams can be effortlessly loaded from the sides using forklifts or from above using cranes. The floor features a heavy-duty wooden finish and numerous recessed, certified lashing rings for impeccable cargo securing. Thanks to the standardized ISO corner castings on the fixed end walls, this container meets all requirements for worldwide intermodal sea and rail transport.
