The 40ft Softtop Open Top Container is the ultimate solution for the large-scale transport and storage of long, heavy, or oversized cargo that cannot be loaded through standard container doors. With a length of over 12 metres, this container is specially designed for loads such as steel profiles, long pipes, heavy machinery, structural elements, or bulk goods that must be loaded using an overhead crane or gantry crane.

The top is fitted with an exceptionally strong, watertight PVC tarpaulin supported by removable steel roof bows. This tarpaulin is securely fastened with a TIR custom cable, ensuring maximum protection of the contents against wind, rain, and dirt during international transport.

For top-loading, simply remove the tarpaulin and the roof bows to create a completely unobstructed top opening. In addition, the rear side features a swing header, allowing tall and long goods to be driven effortlessly through the rear using a forklift.
